Atsuta Shrine
Atsuta Shrine is a large shrine nestled in the forest, with its approximately 20,000-square-meter grounds shaded by a large camphor tree over 1,000 years old.
The Treasure Museum within the shrine grounds houses and displays over 6,000 offerings from the Imperial family and worshippers from across Japan, telling the history of worship. Additionally, the Kusanagi Hall, a treasure trove of swords, displays approximately 450 famous swords donated to the shrine, over 170 of which are designated cultural properties by the national and Aichi prefectures.
